Privacy Policy
The short version
- The extension doesn't send us anything. Your picks stay in your own browser.
- It only runs on thelott.com, and only fills in the numbers you paste.
- No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no selling of data.
- It never submits an entry, and never sees your payment details or lottery account password.
Who we are
LottoFill is made by Tachnat Pty Ltd, Australia (“LottoFill”, “we”, “us”). We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. LottoFill is a trading name and a venture of Tachnat Pty Ltd, PO Box 122, Austral NSW 2179, Australia. Questions about this policy go to hello@lottofill.com.
The LottoFill extension
What it stores, and where
The extension saves two things using your browser's built-in extension storage (chrome.storage.local), on your own computer:
| Item | Why |
|---|---|
| The ticket numbers you paste into the popup | So they're still there if you close and reopen the popup |
| Your PowerBall option (random, always 1, or leave blank) | So you don't have to pick it again each time |
This data never leaves your browser. We have no server that receives it, and we can't see it. You can delete it at any time by clicking Clear in the popup, or by removing the extension.
What it does on the lottery site
The extension only runs on pages at thelott.com. When you press Scan or Fill, it reads the play form on that page to find the game rows and number grids, then clicks the numbers you pasted. It does not read or record your account details, balance, ticket history, or payment information, and it never presses the purchase button. You review every game and submit the entry yourself.
What it does not do
- It makes no network requests of its own: no analytics, crash reporting, or “phone home”.
- It doesn't track the sites you visit or run on any site other than thelott.com.
- It doesn't sell, rent, or share data with anyone, because it doesn't collect any.
Browser permissions, explained
| Permission | What it's used for |
|---|---|
| Access to thelott.com | Filling your numbers into the play form on that site |
| Storage | Remembering your pasted picks and PowerBall option on your computer |
| Active tab | Checking that the tab you're on is the thelott.com play page before filling |
Chrome Web Store limited use
LottoFill's use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Data stays on your device and is used only to provide the fill feature you can see.

Launch list and enquiries
If you use the form on lottofill.com, we keep your email address, any message you write, the time, and the country your request came from (worked out by our host from your connection, not your exact location). We use it only to reply to you, to tell you when LottoFill is available in your country, and about major changes to the product. It is stored with Cloudflare, our hosting provider, and emailed to us so we can reply. To block spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser for signs of automated bots (see Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum), and we briefly keep a count of submissions per connection to stop flooding. We don't share it or use it for anything else. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Hosting and fonts
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request information (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads. We don't use analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels.
Children
LottoFill is for adults of legal gambling age where they live. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or make a complaint, by emailing hello@lottofill.com or writing to PO Box 122, Austral NSW 2179. For the extension, there's nothing for us to hand over, because the data is only on your device. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
If the extension ever starts collecting data, for example to sync picks between devices, we'll update this page and the effective date before that version is released, and say clearly what changed.
